Visitors can take a guided tour through an authentically furnished Lancaster county Old Order Amish farmhouse where they can learn about the history and customs of the 18,000 Amish living in Lancaster County today. Attractions include a Blacksmith Shop with tools of the smithy's trade, a fully furnished one-room schoolhouse, and a barn complete with animals - horses, miniature mules, goats, peacocks, peahens and a mother sow with her piglets. The Amish Village gift and souvenir store features a n operating smokehouse stocked with traditional Pennsylvania Dutch foods available for purchase.
