Shawnee State Park

In Pennsylvania's scenic Ridge and Valley Province, the gorgeous landscape of this park keeps visitors coming back year after year. Of particular interest is Shawnee's long sand and turf beach that receives ample use between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The lake is popular for boating and fishing.

Shawnee State Park is 3,983 acres of Pennsylvania's scenic Ridge and Valley Province. Ten miles west of historic Bedford along Route 30, Shawnee has fine recreational facilities that are convenient and fit into the natural environment. A focal point of the park is the 451-acre Shawnee Lake.
