The Blackstone River Highway is a 17.1 mile bikeway (12 feet wide) with two lanes. It links into the popular East Bay Bike Path, which makes a continuous 31.9 mile route for alternative transportation.
The Blackstone River Highway is scheduled to be a small part of the proposed East Coast Greenway, which is a bikepath that, when completed, will stretch from Maine to Florida. This will allow outdoor enthusiasts to bike, run, and inline skate to their hearts content.
