Blackville

Blackville is located in Barnwell County south of Columbia between Williston and Denmark along United States Highway 78 near the South Fork Edisto River.

Blackville is located just 45 miles north east of Augusta and 48 miles south of Columbia, South Carolina on Highway 3. Blackville is home of Miller's Bread Basket with his famous home made bread and the Healing Springs.

Barnwell County offers the best of urban and rural living. With thousands of acres preserved in its natural state, recreational activities are endless, from fishing and hunting to swimming and boating. Nature lovers can enjoy the unique Pocomoke River and cypress swamp, abundant wildlife, the Smoky Mountains and the famous ponies of Assateague Island. For golfers, there are ten championship courses offering 180 holes. The county contains seven incorporated municipalities, the largest of which are Blackville, Williston and the county seat of Barnwell.
