For more than 100 years, the Adams family has lived along the Missouri River in southeastern South Dakota. Today, the land they held so dear for the past century is becoming a peaceful place for everyone to enjoy.

In 1983, Maud and Mary Adams initiated the donation of what has become a total of 1,500 acres to the Game, Fish and Parks Department.

While using the area's trails and other recreation facilities, visitors will have many opportunities to learn more about the land's rich natural and historical significance.

It is on the edge of North Sioux City.
