Founded in 1883, this is a public institution offering undergraduate programs in applied science and technology, arts and humanities, business and public affairs, and education and human resources development. There are four undergraduate and one graduate school. The 123 acre campus is in a small town 45 miles northwest of Rapid City. Including residence halls, there are 13 buildings.
Fraternities, sororities and over 55 clubs and organizations are on campus. Tours of the campus are available.
