In the Great Lakes Region, Bowdle is located in Edmunds County, near the intersection of Hwys 12 and 47. Bowdle Municipal Airport serves Bowdle and Edmunds County and is owned by the Town of Bowdle. At an elevation of about 1967 feet, the turf runway extends for 3600 feet.

Sully County Fair Onida SD August9-12 kicking off the fair with a parade through Onida on Thursday, at 6:27 p.m. The parade will end up at the fairgrounds where we will be having cake, refreshments and music.
