This wax museum features 50 rare life-sized, costumed figures of famous personalities in historic settings that portray the settlement of the Dakota Territory and life in the Deadwood area from the arrival of the first Europeans through the gold rush era. Scenes include Saloon No. 10, where Wild Bill Hickok was shot; a dance hall, doctor's office, and the Gulch's richest gold claim. Located in the old Town Hall building; open mid-May through September.
