The new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is located in the heart of downtown Nashville's entertainment district. Spanning an entire city block and soaring 107 feet above a lush urban park, the new $37 million facility features over 40,000 square feet of exhibit space. Live entertainment will be provided every day as well as numerous interactive features. An enormous two-story wall displays every gold and platinum record ever to make the country charts. The museum boasts the acoustically pristine Ford Theater, a 214 seat state of the art performance venue featuring a digital film presentation on country music around the world. A full service restaurant features contemporary Southern cuisine and is open for lunch. A 5,500 square foot museum shop offers Nashville's best selection of vintage and current country music tapes, CDs, boxed sets, books, videos, collectibles and apparel.
