Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is a multi-use facility serving general aviation, commercial aviation, the State Aircraft Pooling Board, and the Texas Army National Guard. Restaurants and shops with a local flavor attract thousands of passengers.

Guided tours are provided for groups of adults and children five and older. Advance reservations are necessary. Call the tour program at 512-530-2242.

An outdoor family viewing area is located near the east runway. Nearly one acre has been set aside to provide a vantage point for watching planes land and take off.

The paved runway extends for 12251 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 541 feet at a distance of about 5 miles from Austin.
