When the Daisy Bradford #3 blew there was a flood of workers causing the school district to burgeon in seven years from 79 to 1,832 students, making it the largest rural school in the world. What began as a school exhibition has grown to a full-fledged museum with more than 3,000 artifacts portraying the boom days through the eyes of a child; housed in a 1940s roadside cafe adjacent to an oil-field tent-house and a 1930s Dixie Service Station. Open Fri-Sat 9am-4:30pm. Donations are excepted.
