Kerrville-Schreiner State Park consists of more than 500 acres along the Guadalupe River, three miles southeast of Kerrville. The park was acquired in 1934 and the original construction was done by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Activities to be enjoyed include boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, swimming, hiking and walking. The park rents tubes and canoes year-round.
