Lewisville is nine miles northeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in southeastern Denton County, ringed by Dallas, Fort Worth, and Denton. The Dallas, Texas metro area suburb of 75,000-plus residents has its own Lewisville Lake, on I-35.
