Built in 1906 by Dr. I.B. Nofsinger and designed by Mrs. Nofsinger. The home is made of brick, this structure has twelve foot ceilings and original woodwork and fixtures. In 1980 the home was purchased by Elgin Savings and Loan and was converted to the use of a bank. Today it is the home of Elgin City Hall and chamber of commerce.
