Glen Burnie Museum

Glen Burnie has 25 acres of Gardens and a Historic House filled with the beautiful antiques of The Julian Wood Glass Jr. Collection. The site traces its historic significance to Col. James Wood, who settled in this land in the early 1700s and then donated portions of his homestead to establish the city of Winchester in 1744. In 1997, the site was opened as a museum, with the house furnished exactly like Julian Wood Glass Jr., the last James Wood descendant to live at Glen Burnie.
