Built in 1796, this house contains furnishings from the Federal and Victorian periods and offers visitors a view of a Colonial herb and perennial garden. Exhibits explain the story of the family's life in the northern wilderness. Five generations of the Strong family occupied this lovely home, until the time of the Civil War. Open seasonally, Memorial Day through Labor Day, weekends only. Group rates available.
