La Toscana Italian Country Inn

This 1859 farmhouse was transformed into an authentic Italian country inn and restaurant by two brothers, chef Antonio and wine expert Giancarlo DeVito. Born, reared and professionally trained in Italy, they collaborate with American pastry chef Patricia Hammer.

This quaint inn is decorated with items carefully selected from Tuscany's regions. Its cozy guest rooms, each with a private bath, are furnished and maintained with an eye for detail.

La Toscana Country Inn is within walking distance of TopNotch at Stowe Resort and Spa. Guests at the inn can avail themselves of this four-season health spa, riding stables, cross-country trails and indoor tennis courts for a minimal fee.

After a busy day of activities, guests will return to one of Stowe's best restaurants, noted as a special dining experience by numerous food magazines. A privileged location, reasonable prices and exceptional regional Italian cuisine combine to make La Toscana a discerning traveler's choice.
