Norwich is located in Windsor County off Interstate 91, across the Connecticut River from Hanover, New Hampshire.
The town of Norwich was chartered in 1761 and, for many years, had its town offices in "the Lewis House." James Tracy gifted land to the town and in 1938, Tracy Hall, now known as the municipal building, was built.
A stretch of the Appalachian Trail is listed among its highlights as well as the King Arthur Flour Company. The beautiful Congregational Church is worth a stop as well.
