Vermont Raptor Center

The center at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science is an educational facility and clinic devoted to birds of prey. Visitors gain a rare insight into these high-flying hunters and how injured raptors are rehabilitated for release back into the wild. Four hundred birds are treated annually and half are released. Birds that cannot be released are sometimes used as special ambassadors in center programs. Nature trails are included with other activities.
