Housed in a turn of the century loft building, Clarke Galleries specialize in 19th and 20th century American paintings, featuring the work of the Hudson River School, the American Impressionists (including students of the movement), Cape Ann (Massachusetts) artists, New England artists and Vermont artists from the 18th century to the present. Among the contemporary artists featured are Susan Abbott, James Gahagan, Bill Jersey, Robert Klein, Kathleen Kolb and Beth Person.
