Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail

Search Visit Washington

Completed in 1994, the trail serves thousands of commuter and recreation trail users each year. The eleven-mile circuit is used by cyclists, walkers, joggers, and skaters. In the winter months, cross country skiers and snowshoers also share the trail.

The entire loop is managed by six different government agencies, including Chelan County PUD, Douglas County Parks, Washington State Department of Transportation, Washington State Parks and the cities of Wenatchee and East Wenatchee.

The trail crosses the Columbia River at the north and south ends of Wenatchee and can be entered or exited from free public parking lots at several locations on both sides of the river. The Wenatchee side of the trail is lighted until midnight.
