We invite you to experience Bartwood Lodge....one of the most beautiful waterfront settings on Orcas Island. Come join us for a romantic stroll on our private beach and pier. View the spectacular sunsets and abundance of wildlife in our natural setting. Bartwood Lodge has a variety of accommodations including Fireplace Suites, Waterfront View Rooms and Garden View Rooms. We do have a few rooms designated for guests with well behaved pets. All rooms have private bathrooms, color- cable television, coffee makers, beach access and privileges on the championship tennis court. A boat launching facility is available for guest use. Non smoking.

Seattle Japanese Cultural Festival Seattle WA April26-28 The festival features Japanese exhibits, performances, and demonstrations. Held at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
