Nestled under the majestic shadow of Mount Rainier, Emerald Downs has established itself as the premier Thoroughbred racing venue in the Pacific Northwest. The 166 acre facility, located midway between Seattle and Tacoma in the Auburn Valley features a state-of-the-art, six level stadium with a commanding view of the entire one-mile racing oval.

The excitement of Thoroughbred racing is combined with many special events throughout the summer. Live bands in the park and Family Sundays, complete with face-painting clowns, pony rides and more.

In the off season, Emerald Downs offers full cards of simulcast wagering from racetracks around the nation. Call for special group packages. Free stable tours are also offered by appointment.
