This is one of three hatcheries in the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery Complex. About 800,000 chinook salmon are raised annually and released into the Columbia River Basin. The hatchery is located on the Entiat River just 25 miles north of Wenatchee.

To reach the hatchery, turn west from Highway 97 and follow signs which direct you to the hatchery. The hatchery is open from 7:30 am to 4:00. The best time to visit is in late summer and early fall when the adult fish are spawning.
