Cascades Camp and Conference Center, developed on 845 wilderness acres, is a non profit camping ministry for young men, women, and adults. It is located on the edge of Elbow Lake and operates year round. Youth camps are provided for children of grades 1 to 12. Guests are invited to come on Sunday to join in worship and enjoy BBQ dinner. Home school programs include lesson of horsemanship skills, Bible study and a guided trail ride. Lodges, cabins, dinning center, recreational facilities are available for rental.

Seattle Japanese Cultural Festival Seattle WA April26-28 The festival features Japanese exhibits, performances, and demonstrations. Held at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
