Grandview, in the lower Yakima Valley in Yakima County, takes its name from the spectacular westward view of Mount Rainier and Mount Adams. The fertile soil of the valley enhances the bounty of such local crops as apples, asparagus, corn, hops, grapes, peaches and cherries.
