The "Old Quinault Post Office" is home to the Lake Quinault Museum and Historical Society. Through community effort the old post office is undergoing a complete renovation. The downstairs is completed and opened Memorial Day, 2004 to the public.

Two Quinault 24 foot cedar dugout racing canoes are part of the museum's collection as well as exhibits of Dell Mulkey and Dale Northrup photographs documenting the Quinault area from the 1920's through the 1960's.

The Museum is located on the South Shore Road of Lake Quinault adjacent to the Quinault Mercantile and within walking distance of Lake Quinault Lodge.

Summer Schedule: Memorial Day to Labor Day, Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
