The park is located within a glacial valley in Washington's Cascade Range.
The park has beautiful mountain views and hiking trails. There are a variety of year-round recreational activities including camping, fishing, boating, hiking, swimming, mushroom hunting and playground activities. Winter activities include snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross county skiing.
