Nooksack

Nooksack is on Highway 9 in Whatcom County about eight miles south of the border with Canada. Nooksack was first platted in 1890. It has had a history of fires in the business district, with major conflagrations occurring in 1906, 1909, 1911, 1913, and 1922. The town has a state historical site in the Nooksack Bible Camp. The tabernacle on the grounds was built in 1899.

For visiting campers, the City provides space at Nooksack City Park, which also has picnic tables and playground equipment.

Nooksack is part of the Bellingham, WA metro area.
