Yelm High School

Yelm High School is a place where students, teachers, parents, and the business community come together to prepare students for their future. The school provides students with a safe and orderly environment where they can learn and practice good choices. The school also offers 15 different challenging vocational programs ranging from building technology to culinary arts and food service to law enforcement. The school also provides the service of a career center.

Seattle Japanese Cultural Festival Seattle WA April26-28 The festival features Japanese exhibits, performances, and demonstrations. Held at the Seattle Center in the Fisher Pavilion. The annual festival began in 1976 with a gift of 1,000 cherry trees to the city of Seattle from the Japanese government to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial.
