Stonerose Interpretive Center

The center provides a look at life on earth 50 million year ago. Fossils of plants, insects and fish discovered at a nearby site are displayed.

Visitors are encouraged to tour the fossil site, located just a short walk from the Interpretive Center, and dig for fossils. Chisels and hammers are recommended for digging; tools are available for a fee at the center.
