The Wenatchee River originates on the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains, having Wenatchee Lake as its headwaters. It flows through Tumwater Canyon and joins Icicle Creek at Leavenworth. From there, it flows eastward past Cashmere and joins the Columbia River at Wenatchee.
