Five thousand scenic acres of steep hills, bluffs and deep valleys. Two lakes offer excellent swimming, fishing and boating.

Summer activities include 13 bicycle trails, 2 self guided nature trails, 28 hiking trails, 22 horse trails with horse rider's campsites, and 1 surfaced bicycle trail.

Winter activities include ice fishing, 15 snowmobile trails, 22 cross-country ski trails, ice skating and tobogganing.

There 270 tent campsites and 79 electric campsites for both summer and winter camping.

Local wildlife include white tailed deer, wild turkeys, ruffed grouse, red and grey fox, beaver, woodchucks, and muskrats. There are more than 150 species of birds inhabiting the area.
