Merrill

Merrill is located in Lincoln County (of which it is the county seat) between Wausau and Tomahawk along US Hwy 51 on the banks of the Wisconsin River near the New Wood and Copper Rivers. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 10,298, an increase of 438 since 1990.
