Wehr Nature Center located in Franklin, WI, is a natural treasure for everyone to see. Prairies, woodlands, wetlands, and Mallard Lake are all natural communities contained within the 200 acres of Whitnall Park know as Wehr Nature Center. There are over five miles of trails that wind their way throughout the park and give you the opportunity to see the homes and habits of Wisconsin wildlife.
The visitors center has natural history displays, a small collection of live reptiles and a screech owl for you to view. The nature store sells merchandise pertaining to the Nature Center. The center offers self and guided tour to the public.
