Maes-y-Gwernen is a well appointed country hotel with private grounds in the village of Abercraf, in the Upper Swansea Valley, on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Since 1978 they have built their reputation for good food, good service and comfort at rates which represent excellent value. This has been reflected by a number of awards and commendations received from the AA, RAC, Les Routiers and the Wales Tourist Board. Abercraf is situated within the National Park in easy reach of the tourist attractions in the area. It also provides a good base for business people visiting the lower Swansea Valley.
