Tygart State Park

Paramount to the park is the 1,740-acre Tygart Lake. Built by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1938, Tygart Lake lodge has 20 wood-paneled guest rooms featuring two double beds and also has many features and facilities suited to the outdoor adventurer, offering five hiking trails but also a restaruant and gift shop.
