Clear Creek Trail

This trail traverses over a mile from the motel circle near the intersection of I-25 and Hwy 16 to the Buffalo's Downtown Shopping District and then to the South side of Clear Creek through the city park. Birds are plentiful in the park, and visitors can frequently spot kingfishers, flickers, and wax-wings, as well as geese. The trail then joins a green belt for over two miles. Another three miles of natural pathway eventually leads to the Big Horn Mountains and Mosier Gulch picnic area.

The park features five exercise stations throughout, including pull-up bars and balance beams. In the early evening it is not uncommon to spot whitetail deer and pheasant. Fireflies give a spectacular show just before dusk on the green belt.
