Living History Days began in 1990 in the city of Buffalo, and have progressed into a community wide event growing more important each year. The three days focus on the historic lives of soldiers, gunfighters, ranchers, Native Americans, home- steaders, cowboys, and women and children of the Old West.
Authentic demonstrations occur daily, like weapons exhibits, butter churning, quilt making, mountain men, gun fights, canning and preserving, saddle making, and more. You can also see some old-fashioned street theater like old-fashioned cobblers, Basque sheepherders, photographers, and others. Living History Days will prove to be an exciting adventure that is educational and entertaining.
