The Box "R" Ranch is a working cattle and horse ranch. Operated under the same ownership for five generations. It is a true Western Wyoming working ranch, not a resort, and the second oldest family owned ranch operation in Wyoming.
Bordering the beautiful, and unspoiled Bridger Wilderness, the goal to introduce all guests to a true working ranch experience, from cowboy horsemanship to cattle ranch life, and have you feeling like a part of our cowboying crew upon departure.
You will be assigned your own private horse and tack. All of the vacations are structured around ranch life, cattle, horseback riding, and outdoor activities.
Great hiking, photography, wildlife viewing, birding, and the liberty to absorb the purest facets of undisturbed nature. For those who also enjoy fishing, or maybe want to fish while healing a saddle sore, catch native Brook Trout or German Brown Trout from the ranch's nearly four miles of Willow Creek or one of their private ponds.
