Colter Bay Village is located on the shore of Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park, just 15 miles from the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This historic property offers duplex-style log cabins that are located in a wooded area, just a short walk from the lakeside. Inside you will find simple yet comfortable accommodations that consist of a bedroom and private shower bath (no tubs) in most cabins. In keeping with the nature of the national park, televisions, clocks and radios are not provided. Located by the shores of Jackson Lake, Colter Bay Village offers a variety of accommodations as well as a full service marina, John Colter Cafe Court, Chuckwagon Steak & Pasta House, a launderette, showers, grocery store, gift and apparel shops, corrals and service stations. The National Park Service Visitor's Center, Indian Arts Museum and Amphitheater are also located in the Colter Bay Village.

Eastern Idaho State Fair Blackfoot ID August31-September7 The Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot begins Labor Day and features horse racing, demolition derby, rodeo, and top name stars along with the excitement of the midway rides and wide range of food booths.

The fair has all the traditional elements of an agricultural fair, including exhibits and 4-H competition.
