Operated by the Basilian Fathers, it has ancient manuscripts, church artifacts and items of Ukrainian and Canadian culture. It is known mainly to scholars, who found treasures of information in the variety of Ukrainian newspapers, which date as far back as 1911. Another part of the collection is a section of rare liturgical books written in the Old Church Slavonic language, the scholarly language used in 15th to 18th century.
