Twenty-five miles southwest of Calgary. This town of about 700 people was named after a rancher who settled in the area in 1894, Albert Bragg. Bragg Creek is a popular weekend getaway which is known as the `Gateway to the Kananaskis,` for its proximity to the Northern Rockies.
The area has evolved into an artist's community, with sculptors, potters, weavers, painters and other artisans practicing in the area.
