The Brooks and District Museum traces local history from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Some displays are of equipment used by early doctors and dentists, dinosaur bones and native artifacts from before the arrival of the Europeans. A NWMP barracks, a railroad station, blacksmith shop, and the fully furnished Alberta House are located on the grounds.
