This museum displays and interpret the history of Fort Saskatchewan. It is situated in the historical courthouse of 1909, and located on the property is a pioneer house, schoolhouse and church. On display are antique automobiles and farm equipment.

Fort Saskatchewan became an incorporated village in 1899 and a town in 1904.

The Canadian Northern Railway's arrival in 1905 stimulated growth and rendered goods and services more accessible. 'G' Division headquarters were relocated to Edmonton in 1913, and in 1914, a provincial gaol was constructed on the grounds. In 1952, Sherritt Gordon Mines Ltd. founded a nickel refinery in Fort Saskatchewan, which paved the way for other industries. Fort Saskatchewan became a city in 1985.
