Kawtikh Retreat and Campground

Comments: My family and I spent a weekend out here during the summer. I must say, I was rather impressed with campground. The trees are matured, providing lots of privacy for our family. The regulars and staff were very friendly and you could tell they cared about the place. Washroom facilities were clean, which is a big plus for me. There was also plenty of other children to play with our children and the playground would keep them entertained for hours. Porbably the biggest attribute is Kawtikh's proximity to Edmonton. With only a 40 minute drive back to the city, it's a very convenient vacation spot.

Comments: I have been going to kawtikh for a number of years but under the new managment it has stedaly declined to to point that me and my family will no longer make the trip out to the lake. it is a shame that such a lovely spot has been run down all in the name of making money
