Kasaan

Kasaan is located in P. of Wales-Outer Ketchikan Census Area, west of Ketchikan on Prince of Wales Island at the head of Kasaan Bay.

Kasaan derives its name from the Tlingit word meaning "pretty town."

Visitors to Kasaan will find Country Lace B & B/Kafe, a school, post office and docks on Kasaan Bay, as well remnants of the historical village and petroglyphs.
