Located 147 Mi via paved, scenic highway from Anchorage in south central Alaska, Soldotna borders portions of the famed Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, home to the full array of Alaskan wildlife. Moose often wander right into town and eagles are a common sight.

Denise Lake Lodge is nestled in a setting of white birches overlooking scenic Denise Lake. It offers a variety of lodging options, including a log lodge with a large covered deck with a gas barbecue on the lakeside.

All guest rooms have private baths and TV. The cabin features a living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 baths (one with Jacuzzi), and 2 decks. A full Alaskan breakfast is served.

The lodge also offers fishing charters on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers, halibut charters, fly-out fishing, and hunting trips.

Local area activities include fishing, hunting, canoeing, photography, hiking, swimming, beach combing, gold panning, digging, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.
