This annual fair is held at the fairgrounds in
Haines in mid-August and grew out of a strawberry festival. It features agriculture, home arts, fine arts and crafts. The highlight is the Bald Eagle Music Festival.
Pig racing for cookies is a featured attraction, along with a logging contest, art demonstrations, exhibits of flowers, livestock, baked goods, quilting, and woodworking. A horse show, parade and other events round out the attractions.
