Cherry trees and a Japanese bridge accent the small lake forming the centerpiece of Big Spring International Park. Located near the site where city founder John Hunt built his cabin in 1805, the park now hosts some of Huntsville's biggest annual events, including Panoply, the arts festival, and Big Spring Jam, the music festival.
